Fiber Glass Sound Absorber FGSA SR
FGSA SR is only ¼"(6mm) or ½" (13mm) in thickness, but it offers excellent sound absorption within a wide frequency range. Unlike foam plastics or mineral wool, there is no need to increase the thickness of the material in order to achieve better low frequency absorption. It is only necessary to increase the distance between the FGSA and the panels in front of which it is mounted. The Film facing is a very thin Mylar film reinforced by a Ripstop Nylon scrim to prevent any mechanical damage propagating across the whole panel.
